Data deletion

This page exists because Facebook Login requires a published data deletion route. It applies to SaharaSprout account data. The irrigation controller keeps its history in its own flash and is erased by resetting the device; none of it reaches us.

1. From your SaharaSprout account

  1. Sign in to your SaharaSprout account.
  2. Open Settings, then Profile.
  3. Choose Delete account at the foot of the page and confirm.

This removes your account and its associated data from our servers.

2. Removing the app from Facebook

  1. In Facebook, open Settings and privacy, then Settings.
  2. Go to Apps and websites.
  3. Select SaharaSprout and choose Remove.

This revokes our access to your Facebook profile. It does not by itself delete data already held in your SaharaSprout account, so use step 1 as well.

3. If you cannot sign in

Email privacy@saharasprout.com with the subject Data deletion request, from the address on the account. We complete requests within 30 days and confirm by email when the deletion is done.
